Dick DeVos – A Man To Be Recognized

It was not only a great event for the Meleges 32 sailors but the LYC foundation also made it possible for a junior sailor to ride with each Meleges 32 sailors. What a great opportunity for young sailors to learn hands on from the best sailors in the nation. The second day of racing held three races which were held on February 13th, Dick DeVos came out on top by just one point. The water started out calmly in the first race, which DeVos came in a close second, but by the time the third race was undergo the wind was not the only thing that was unpredictable. The races ended with both Denver Rozzo and Michael Moss taking home trophies for best youth efforts – both whom will be able to remember this experience for a long time to come. Dick is a great man to be recognized – and not only because of his impeccable sailing skills.
