A Weighty Dilemma

With the Venezuelan economy is a perpetual state of free fall, the price of everything has skyrocketed. One unique consequence of this financial dilemma is the need of the average citizen to carry around a stunning amount of physical money. It is now an everyday occurrence for the money used to pay for an item to outweigh the actual item itself.

It has gotten so bad that many hotels and restaurants now use money-counting machines to deal with the quantity. Many taxi drivers, David Osio said in an example have given up on counting large wads of bills, and now just blindly accept the voluminous stacks.

This saves both the customer and the vendor the hassle of having to lug around large quantities of money that, in reality according to Visual CV, is not worth all that much.

Athleisure Fabletics: Above And Beyond Workouts

Athleisure is a new fashion word and type of product that mixes athletic and leisure wear on https://twitter.com/fabletics. While men generally don’t pay as much attention to what they wear on a run or in the gym, women definitely do. So, in response, over the last twenty years, athletic companies, such as Reebok and Nike, made workout clothing a little more appealing to women with brighter colors and more form fitting apparel.

Athleisure companies like Fabletics (Wikipedia shows everything about the company) are taking this a step further because some women who don’t go to the gym want to look like they do. In addition, the women who do go to the gym and worked so hard to get a gym body want to show it off post gym as well. Companies are vying for part of this market that will see fashion conscious and wealthier women in yoga pants, stretch tops and dresses while out to lunch and to shop.

For example, actress Kate Hudson has co founded a Fabletics, a company that makes gym outfits that work for the gym and for casual dining and shopping. The fabric has the support, warmth and moisture wicking properties women look for in athletic gear, but can wear it out.

It operates with mostly online sales with the ability to subscribe for discounts. The popularity of this type of dressing is not fad, an April article in Mary Claire stated. Read the full article here:

A Week With WEN: Testing WEN by Chaz Dean on Fine Hair

WEN Cleansing Conditioner is one of the most popular hair-care products on the market. One of Bustle’s beauty writers, Emily McClure, decided to see what the fuss is all about by conducting a seven-day WEN trial on her own hair.
What is WEN?

WEN hair by Chaz Dean (http://www.wen.com/chaz-dean.html) is designed to be a one-stop-shop for hair care regardless of the texture, thickness or type of your hair. Chaz Dean created WEN as a replacement for the multiple hair products previously needed to cleanse and style hair.

The Seven Day Test

McClure, who has fine hair, used the sephora Fig vesrion of the product daily for a seven day period. After only a single wash, her hair was noticeably more voluminous, and her hair’s shine increased dramatically by day seven.

As someone who suffers from an oily scalp, McClure found that daily, morning washes were necessary to keep the roots from looking greasy. By the end of the week-long trial, the hair continued to showcase an impressive level of volume.

Check out McClure’s full review, including before and after photos, on Bustle.

Who Should Try WEN

Wen hair offers formulas for every hair type and condition. McClure suggests that the Fig version, which she used in this experiment, may be a good match for anyone looking for instant volume, such as those with fine or thinning hair.

Increasing Protests in Venezuela

Rationing of food is now occurring in Venezuela as a result of power shortages and lack of food available to the general public. This has caused great unrest amongst the public, a portion of which has become violent. There were riots in Maracaibo because of the powercuts that began on Monday. Maracaibo the second largest city in Venezuela is also not the only one where rioting is occurring.
Citizens of Venezuela are having to wait more than five hours to buy oil, and rice in their local markets and there is suffering all around. The outlook of the people in Venezuela has become pessimistic. Some citizens according to expert Adrian Jose Velasquez Figueroa have even begun to skip meals as a survival strategy. 13 percent of the people have been eating just one meal daily.
Many people are frightened because violence has increased nationwide. Neighbors cannot trust each other any longer. Overall this is the worst food shortage in the history of Venezuela and people are looking for someone to blame.

Velasquez Figueroa thinks that President Maduro has lost the confidence of his people, and the majority of them want him to resign. There has also been pressure for Rodolfo Torres the Food Minister to resign from office but the president blocked it.  http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/04/protests-erupt-venezuela-power-crisis-deepens-160429072951748.html
